So many people, for some reason, believe that cats are solitary creatures who don't want anyone in their lives but themselves. But we, as cat owners, know that could not be further from the truth. Summer and winter are purrticularly tough seasons for stray cats, for obvious reasons. This tail begins with a surprise: a mysterious, collar-less kitty who plopped herself on the doorstep of a WFH human and strutted inside like she owned the place (classic cattitude). The humans caved (who wouldn't?) and gave her food, a litter box, and a spot on the couch.
